The 1st one was for a Dell and this one is for a Toshiba A105-S2141. While searching for these replacement power supplies, I read a boatload of reviews on *A LOT* of different units and there are plenty of bad reviews out there. That surprised me because this is just your basic low-tech commodity type of product. Most of the complaints I saw fell into the "did not work" or "did not last" category with at least one complaint about a power supply damaging the laptop because the electrical polarity was reversed. So since I had good luck on the 1st one, I decided to get an Anker this time too. Like the 1st one, it was very reasonably priced and it works like a champ. It's a 75 watt unit, which is 10 more than the original. Now, if it just holds up for a while without dying, I'll be tickled. I say "go for it". About 4 feet cable between the wall 120VAC and the module, and about 7.5 feet between module and the laptop. Plug-in connector at laptop is right-angled (original has a straight connector). It doesn't plug in as solidly as the original, the connection feels a bit loose after it's plugged in but it has worked flawlessly so far. I've built a stand out of cardboard (it folds flat) so the module sits 1" off the floor, the improved cooling should prolong its life, should have built one for the original module.
